What I’m working on

Purpose: Single public-facing briefing for humans and LLMs. Keep to ~1–2 screens; expand detail in wiki/projects/ and link out.

New Grok chat (blank thread): Paste wiki/Grok-Brief.md once (self-contained; no wikilinks), or paste only the capsule for the project you name. Then open with e.g. “Another idea for Crusty” / “Facebook campaign for Rusty Cage” / “Brainstorm Aye Robot” / “App Store copy for LunarCast.” See Grok-Brief.

Snapshot (2026-04-11)

  • This repo: Personal projects wiki — raw/ (immutable) + wiki/ (LLM-maintained) + SCHEMA.md for Cursor; aiming for Quartz so one URL is full context.
  • Learning — AI model distillation: Phase 1 done (Moonshot / Wissner-Gross, paper, Boxy hands-on — see projects/education-startup-ux). Phases 2–4 queued: LLM generalization doc → 8–12 readings + notes → narrow distilled model + case study. → projects/ai-model-distillation
  • Aye Robot comic (X): @ayerobotcomic — daily one-panel strip; mornings Grok suggests five ideas and Crusty suggests five; pick best → generate image → manual tweak → post. Dedicated account ~$8/mo; early reach. Canonical project page: → projects/ayerobot-comic
  • Crusty (OpenClaw): Primary autonomous agent on a wiped MacBook Pro 2021 (M1, 16 GB): no Apple ID, minimal permissions. Models: grok-4-1-fast-reasoning (main), grok-code-fast-1 (coding). Gmail (band inbox) + Calendar + Brave search; memory hardened (memoryFlush before compaction, session + memory search). Daily: newsletter/list digest (personal mail forwarded into band Gmail), Aye Robot comic idea (image gen currently snagged; ideas also feed @ayerobotcomic workflow), meal ideas at 3 pm. Same three-layer memory idea as Lobstar Wilde, with stronger persistence. Goal: automate more (calendar, email, creative) without blowing up privacy — every new automation reviewed. → projects/crusty, projects/openclaw-autonomy-org, recurring-issues
  • Music — Rusty Cage: Alt-country trio (Shoreline, 2024); site, FB, booker on Cloud Run. Gig hunt (PNW, since Mar 2026); next: press kit, venue outreach, digital upkeep. Band Gmail is also Crusty’s mail boundary for digests. → projects/rusty-cage
  • Music — broader: Originals / live; producer / entrepreneur lane alongside the band. → projects/music-production
  • Happy Body: Daily resistance training + weekly Jerzy Gregorek group; happybodygrok.com; mentoring two people; eyeing coach/mentor path. → projects/happy-body
  • TriviaBalance: triviabalance.com — trivia game to reinforce physical balance (especially seniors); AI could expand trivia + balance-exercise content. → projects/triviabalance
  • LunarCast: Native iOS podcast app — calm listening (no ads, no aggressive discovery), RSS for any show, optional curated feeds, playback/settings focus, news separate from the player. CloudKit sync without account/sign-in. Default library tuned for moonshot / long-form fans: Moonshots, Lex Fridman, The Innermost Loop (podcast + news article feed), curated Elon Musk interviews across podcasts — without pushing algorithmic discovery. App Store: in review. Free at launch; monetization only if it gains traction. → projects/lunarcast
  • Work — education / parent app: Async coaching feedback on parent–child activity (video). Explored native iOS POC “Boxy” — on-device WhisperKit (incl. smaller distilled Whisper), custom baby-coo Core ML classifier (FastAPI train pipeline), rules-based cues; minutes per clip; TestFlight for tests. Vision+v1 missed infant sounds; speech-only v2 workable for feasibility demos only. Gemini on upload: strong coaching (~16 s / ~2:30). Toy photos + style → activities + paper-cut art. Web prototype: GitLab Pages + GCP + Gemini (video); Vercel + Gemini (photos). → projects/education-startup-ux
  • Health / diet: Keto-flex routine (detail lives upstream in USER.md). → projects/personal-health-diet (review before public publish)

Direction: Solo entrepreneur / producer (music, Happy Body coaching); Seattle-area network with shared-purpose friends (values aligned with e.g. Musk; avoid politics).

How to use this page (for an LLM)

  1. Grok / external LLM with no repo access: point them at Grok-Brief (paste or public URL when hosted).
  2. Read this file first, then index, glossary, recurring-issues, tools-and-repos.
  3. OpenClaw work: projects/crusty (canonical), then projects/openclaw-autonomy-org.

Wins / momentum

  • Crusty running reliable daily loops (mail digest, Aye Robot idea, 3 pm meals) on a clean, low-trust-surface Mac.

Pain points / open loops

  • Aye Robot: fix image generation (config/tool). → recurring-issues
  • External refs (gig-venues-pnw.md, learning-plan/*, USER.md meal detail) not in repo — add to raw/ when possible.
  • Public Quartz: strip or soften Crusty hardware/integration detail if the site is fully public.
